I couldn't sleep much last night, even less than I normally do, because I was anxious. Woke up this morning and started packing the last of my stuff, only running on about two hours of sleep. Been trying not to think too much about the whole situation; about what may or may not happen after moving away, or the things I'll miss about living in my old place.
At any rate... Moving went okay, more or less. My dad and my mate came to help with everything. I have way too much stuff to fit back into my parents' house... Pretty much trying to shove all the stuff from my fully furnished apartment into either my tiny bedroom at home, or into an equally small amount of storage space. There are boxes everywhere, and it's going to take me days to go through it all. I probably won't be able to set up my computer and desk for another few days, so I'm just using my laptop for now.
Just because I didn't have enough to deal with today though, I ended up shredding a tire on my car during the drive over to my parents' house, in the middle of the highway.

The tire was replaced with the spare... then the old tire had to fit into my car, after it was already crammed with stuff we were hauling for the move. Then I had to go slow the entire way home because the spare tire can't support higher speeds. My one-hour trip home turned into a two-and-a-half-hour trip. I had my cat in the car and was worried about how she was doing stuck in her pet carrier for that long, but luckily she did fine.
On the plus side, I saw a bald eagle flying across the highway while trying to get my tire fixed. That was kinda cool.
But anyway... I have to go back tomorrow to clean the whole apartment, and start sorting my stuff. Another long day of work after waking up early. Time to get some sleep.
