Twice now, in the past week, I have not only had a lucid dream, but those lucid dreams were INSIDE another dream. I have gone to sleep, and started dreaming that I was dreaming.
Both were very short. In the first, all I remember is that I was aware I was in a dream, and there were a lot of psychedelic colors swirling around me like fractals. I was amazed by all the colors, and I made a note in my head that I was dreaming in color instead of black and white for some reason. It only lasted for a minute before it ended.
The second one happened last night. I actually forgot about it when I woke up, but was just reminded of it. I started dreaming inside my dream, and something was happening (I don't remember what), when I suddenly realized I was in a dream. I recognized it as a lucid dream, and wanted to try flying in the dream. I was indoors, so I couldn't go far, but I felt myself floating up into the air. I was weightless. But after a few seconds I got too excited and started waking up inside my dream - I struggled to immerse myself back into it, but I couldn't float up again. I remember I was holding a cell phone for some reason in the lucid dream, and I remembered how Rhett had talked about screens looking like gibberish in dreams. I spent a minute focusing on my cell phone screen, trying to see if I could read it or not and maybe gain control of my dream again, but I couldn't get back into it. The dream ended shortly afterward.
It's a little surreal. I am very curious why I've been having these dreams this week. I have no idea why it's happening all of a sudden. Who knows.
